Biography: James A. Polk

James A. Polk, C.P.A., Managing Member, has more than 35 years of accounting experience in Georgia and Kentucky. After building a 35-professional practice in west Kentucky, he moved to Atlanta in 1985. He established his solo Atlanta practice in 1990 after serving as treasurer for a local company. He and his wife, Kay, live in Vinings. He has four children and three grandchildren.

Biography: Brian Enlow

Brian Enlow, Tax & Accounting Associate, earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Presbyterian College and a Masters degree of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. Before joining the firm, he worked for a large regional firm in Atlanta. He has lived in Atlanta for 15 years.

Biography: Walt Coakley

Walter J. Coakley, Consultant, BS, MBA has assisted the firm for five tax seasons. He is President of Demanding Technology Consultants, Inc. and has extensive management experience. He moved to Atlanta upon retiring from the U.S. Navy after 28 years as a Captain. He was a vice president of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations for eleven years before starting his consulting business. He and his wife live in Vinings. His daughter and granddaughters live in Smyrna, His son lives near Cordele.

Biography - Paula

Paula Thornton, Administrative Assistant, joined the company in January 2006. Before joining the firm she worked at a large insurance company for 16 years. She is married and has one daughter & one step-daughter.
